Dena Morrow

VIEW Oral History Interview with long time Apopka resident Dena Morrow.

Marilyn John of the Orange County Library System interviews long-time Apopka resident Dena Morrow at the North Orange Library in Apopka. Dena shares her memories of moving to Apopka in 1970 from New Jersey. She remembers when Highway 436 was a two lane road and the house at the corner of 436 and Piedmont Wekiva was being removed to make way for the highway.

Dena is a member of the Apopka Women’s Club which built the gazebo in the park in Apopka and the fern monument. The club also sponsors the Art and Foliage Festival each year.
