Florida has more than 700 springs. The majority of springs bubble up from the Florida Aquifer and are located north of I-4. However, the Orlando area has many beautiful springs that are rich in history. These springs include Wekiva (Wekiwa) and Rock Springs near Apopka, DeLeon Springs near DeLand, and Blue Springs in Orange City.
